General duties include constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and aluminum,

Duties and Responsibilities

• Studies blueprints, sketches, or plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated for Exhibits.
• Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Erects framework for structures.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent use of potentially dangerous equipment.
• Frequent lifting of weight in excess of 20lbs.
• Regularly required to stand and use hands.
• Requires close and distance vision and ability to adjust or focus.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions and with moving mechanical parts.
