If your company operates in the cloud, AI, or enterprise software space and AWS re:Invent 2026 isn’t on your radar, it needs to be.

This is the world's largest cloud computing conference, which attracts tens of thousands of cloud professionals, developers, and decision-makers. You’ll have more meetings with qualified, high-quality prospects in a matter of days than you could feasibly fit into your calendar across an entire year.

By the time you’re done reading this article, you’ll be asking yourself one simple question. Why would my company NOT attend this event?

Here’s everything you need to know about AWS re:Invent 2026, including key dates, attendees, what to expect this year and how to make your presence felt on the show floor.

What is AWS re:Invent?

AWS re:Invent is Amazon Web Services' flagship annual conference, designed for developers, engineers, and IT leaders.

Established in 2012, it’s evolved to become the largest, most influential event in cloud computing.

This is where cloud architects, DevOps engineers, data scientists, and IT leaders come together to share ideas and look at new ways to do business together. It’s also where Amazon Web Services unveils the products and platforms that will shape the industry in the years to come.

As well as sharing a room with the cloud computing industry’s biggest names and getting the opportunity to promote your products to senior decision-makers, you’ll have over 2,000 learning sessions at your fingertips. These sessions are geared towards people of all skill levels and allow you to discover new strategies and stay ahead of the curve.

Last year’s conference hosted over 63,000 attendees across five days, with another two million people tuning in online.

These numbers alone demonstrate the scale of AWS re:Invent. Given Amazon owns around a 30% share of the cloud market, it’s hardly surprising that it can host an event of this magnitude.

  • Solutions architects
  • DevOps leads
  • Data scientists
  • Data engineers

  • IT decision-makers from Fortune 500 enterprises

These are the people who authorize platform decisions, sign software contracts, and choose which vendors they want to partner with.

The sheer breadth and stature of attendees, combined with the learning sessions and presentations, is what sets this event apart from other vertical-specific trade shows.

You not only have a wealth of networking opportunities, but you’re also learning from the very best in the business.

Where and when is AWS re:Invent 2026?

AWS re:Invent 2026 takes place from November 30 through December 4, 2026 across multiple venues along the Las Vegas Strip, including Caesars Forum (the primary keynote venue), Mandalay Bay, The Venetian, Wynn, MGM Grand, and Encore.
