Top 10 Agricultural and Farming Trade Shows in the U.S.

Are you a farm manager, agricultural engineer or plant scientist searching for the perfect place to exhibit your products and services? Here’s a list of the most prestigious agricultural and farming trade shows in the U.S.

Trade shows are a time-tested way to network, sell your ideas and learn about the latest industry trends—especially if you are in the agricultural or farming industry. Many new agricultural inventions debuted at large expositions. For example, Eli Whitney introduced the first model of the cotton gin in 1881 at the International Cotton Exposition.

Today, there are a lot of impressive agricultural and farming trade shows you can attend. However, going to all of them might not be the most beneficial for your business objectives. It’s best to find the shows your ideal target buyers attend, which is why we created this list to help you navigate.

What happens at Agricultural and Farming Trade Shows?

The world relies on hard-working and innovative farmers. And with a global population of over 7.8 billion people, networking and discovering breakthrough solutions is more important than ever. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, agriculture, food, and related industries contributed more than 1 trillion dollars to the U.S. GDP in 2020.

When you think of the run-of-the-mill trade show, pictures of exhibits, speakers and handshakes come to mind. But at agricultural and farming trade shows, things can get a little wild. From rodeos to horse shows to stock shows, there’s never a dull moment when farmers get together to conduct business.

Of course, like any other trade show, you can expect to see a wide variety of exhibitors, from small businesses to large corporations. Various educational seminars and workshops will also be available, covering topics like innovative technologies and financial planning.
